Services:

We offer research of our Historical Collections. Fees are base on time spent, not on the results. We will do our best to find your requested information.

Research by mail or by phone

Our research area includes Blairsville and surrounding townships in Indiana County. We have some limited Information for Derry Township in Westmoreland County including Cokeville, Bairdstown and Livermore.

Search Fees:
One Item Search (such as an obituary or cemetery look up)
$5.00 per item which includes the copy and postage.
$1.00 per item for members, if it is on file.

Full Search includes County Histories, Family Files, Family Histories, Historic Resource Survey, Local Histories and Publications, Maps, Obituraries, Newspapers, Reference Books, Subject Files, Surname Files and Cemetery Records.

First Hour:
Non-refundable retainer includes 10 complimentary copies $25.00 fee ($20. for members)

Each Additional Hour:
You will be contacted if additional hours are needed. $20.00 fee ($15 for members)

Photocopies:
$.25 each

Research in person 

Please come during Society hours:
Tuesday – Friday 10 A.M. to 2 P.M.

Members:
No charge for Library use.

Non-Members:
$3.00 per researcher per day

Copies or Scans
$.25 each. Scanner and other electronic equipment are not allowed.

MEMBERSHIP:
$15.00/year includes a quarterly newsletter and reduced research rates
